Mr. Gyros Greek food was founded over 25 years ago in Kansas City by Ted and Soula Jovaras. They have now grown to three locations in the Kansas City Metro. We tried the Gyro Sandwich - gyro meat wrapped in pita bread with tomatoes onions and homemade Tzatziki sauce and the Chicken Gyro with a wonderful greek salad which included lettuce onions tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, Greek and Bell peppers, feta cheese and a wonderful homemade dressing. And of course we had to indulge in the Baklava for dessert which was fantastic!
The food met our highest expectations as Mr. Gyros does and excellent job of representing a country with so much history and culture. Plato would be pleasantly surprised!
